The National President of Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) Dr. Billy Gillis Harry has applauded the management of Baychester Petroleum International Limited initiative and drive on logistics for the proposed new modular refinery campus which is on the way in Benue State. He stated this during a courtesy visit to the Baychester office in Abuja on Tuesday, 14th May, 2024.
According to him, the idea which was proposed by the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Baychester Chief (Dr.) Winston Odumu-Ojobi will help to ameliorate most of the challenges faced by road transportation of petroleum products over the years. The risk and time wasted in the process of delivering the product is a major task affecting the sector and the final consumers.
He welcomed the idea of BAYCHESTER partnering with PETROAN bearing in mind a long term discussion which had been in progress for more than two and half years. According to him, the innovation which BAYCHESTER is introducing to transport Petroleum products is a welcome idea and should be well activated and effectively deployed.
PETROAN according to Dr. Billy Harry has over nineteen thousand, three hundred and fifteen (19,315) registered members with over 6,000 outlets buying petroleum products from N.N.P.C, and over 35,000 filling stations nationwide.
PETROAN will be a primary partner of BAYCHESTER starting from take-off of the refinery to the end users i.e. the downstream of the petroleum process.
